Following a short delay the Lancastria exhibition is now expected to open at the National Maritime Museum at Braehead, Glasgow early in January 2006. The exhibition will consist of the newly commissioned Lancastria banner stand, photographs taken before the war together with Christophe Francois's award winning film which will be displayed onto a special projection screen above the exhibit.
Also featured will be Lancastria book of condolence which was signed by the vast majority of MSPs at the Scottish Parliament, including the Presiding Officer and his deputies, Ministers of state, party leaders and MSPs from all side.
Museum Curator Jon Addison said:
