William Walker (below pictured with his Lancastria commemorative medal - Aug 2008) is 90 years old and originally from Glasgow. After the Lancastria he spent two years in North Africa with 7th Armoured Brigade, subsequently took part in the invasion of Italy and later again Normandy.
